Julia Roberts-Lucas Hedges Drug Addiction Drama ‘Ben Is Back’
Written and Directed by Peter Hedges. Ben Is Back centers on Ben Burns (Lucas Hedges) a 19-year-old young man with substance abuse issues who returns to his family’s home on Christmas Eve. Ben’s mom, Holly (Julia Roberts), love the idea of the unexpected visit of her son but wary of him staying clean. A rough day passes and new truths are exposed. The mother’s unconditional love for her son is tested as she does everything in her hands to keep him from harm.

LD Entertainment, Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions will release Ben Is Back in theaters December 7, 2018. This film will have its World Premiere as a Special Presentation at the 2018 Toronto International Film Festival.
